I always enjoy working with the people of Israel. They are incredibly friendly, helpful and hospitable. After work, I was taken to Mahane Yehuda, a vibrant market place in the city centre. I learnt a lot about the way of life here, the various unfortunate political issues that still plague Israel, and on a brighter note.....the various different cuisines that are rife here.
I tried Khachapuri for the first time, which is actually a Georgian dish. It's essentially a cheese filled bread that is baked together. It's not the healthiest food I've ever eaten, but oh man was it good! After that I tried a Yemeni street food, the name of which I've completely forgotten. Again, amazing, but not exactly healthy!!
