132/365 - March 15th 2018
I received that awesome email letting me know my scans are ready for download, last night actually, but it was too late to have a look as it was late.
This morning I finally updated this project for the first time since January, and since I switch to digital, there's no waiting for scans to come back. I will probably only update this every week though.
I must admit, flicking through the film shots and then the more recent digital ones, did make me think I should have stuck to film. I've only quickly had a look at the first rolls from the Leica, and I love what I'm seeing so far. I wouldn't be surprised if I switch again, and complete this project on the Leica, moving back to film. This time, any film stock goes. As much as I really like the continuity of originally shooting on Tri-X, and having one look to the project, that was a bit too restricting for me. Especially as I've posted already, taking two cameras can be a really hassle. As I've invested so much in the Leica, I think that will be my one camera that comes with me everywhere, and the main (if not only) source of photos from this 365.
So this project will probably come full circle, back to film and one camera! It would have been nice to have had that from the beginning, but in a way I'm glad I've had this 'period of uncertainty' as I've learnt a lot from it - which ultimately was what this project was all about.
Today's photo is mainly to remind me of this beautiful dog who lives where I was working. If he's a guard dog, he's not the best, as he just comes up to anyone expecting a fuss over him! He did make me chuckle everyday though.
