One week to go until my trip to Hong Kong. I've decided to take my Leica after all, and probably bring my Olympus with me as well, as I've not used that camera for a while. That still has a roll of Kodak P3200 I loaded weeks and weeks ago that I've only shot a few frames with. I plan to stick with Portra 400 as per usual in the M6, and use the Olympus to shoot some experimental rolls, mainly stock that I've never shot with before. There's a great dedicated film camera shop in Mongkok, so I'll pick up some new rolls there. I'm really intrigued to try out Cinestill 800, and see what that can do in the awesome street scenes after sunset.
Sticking with film will stop me clicking away like mad, which I'm usually guilty of when in HK. But I don't think I'll be out and about exploring as much as usual, predominately due to the weather. It will be very hot and incredibly humid during July, and it's also one of the wettest months of the year too. I'm not built for hot and humid weather, so I'll so as much as I can.
