After a week in Macau it's finally time to head to Hong Kong.
The weather was awful, which did help things on the ferry ride over. I'm sure I heard at least a few people being sick on the trip!
I'm staying in Tsim Sha Tsui, partly due to proximity to where I'm working, but it's also close to some of my favourite parts of the city. In the evening I headed to Mong Kok and visited a great little camera shop, specialising in film cameras of all shapes and sizes. I successfully resisted buying a camera but I failed to pick up what I went there for in the first place, some rolls of Cinestill 800T. I'm shooting Portra 400 in my Leica as usual, but I've brought my Olympus along to experiment with different films, and I really wanted to shoot with the Cinestill film at night. I think the night lights of the city streets would look awesome shot with it. Unfortunately the shop was out of stock and wouldn't get any more for another few weeks! Bummer.....
