Literally three days after landing from my trip to Dubai (blog post here), I was back at Heathrow, this time flying out further east to Asia. First, a quick stop in Singapore for a day and then on to Kuala Lumpur for a couple more days.
Singapore seems to be a relatively regular destination for me at the moment, but I'm always excited to hear I'm heading back. It's a shame I would only be there for one day, but I did manage to take a quick stroll around the marina area before heading to the airport, and on to KL.
I've never properly explored KL, and I was lucky enough to finish work a little earlier than expected on my last day, and I found time to visit not one, but two of the highest spots in town. As much as I would have loved to explore on foot, in and around the city, the weather was unbearable. Furnace hot, and incredibly humid. If I didn't have the 13 hour flight home that night, I might have tolerated it.
I'm still getting to grips with the Leica, and I'm learning from each roll I shoot, but generally I'm really happy with how they came out. I can see this camera coming with me on a lot of trips!
